Road to Independence provides a unique opportunity for qualified drivers to lease a truck through our special partnerships with industry-leading leasing companies, and start their own trucking business. Once you acquire your truck, you can drive with Virtual Carrier, under the CloudTrucks authority, and access the CloudTrucks app with all of the tools you need to run your business. You’ll also get dispatch support from CloudTrucks to ensure you receive consistent revenue as you establish best practices for success.

How Do I know if I’m Ready for the Road to Independence?

Our program is designed for experienced truck drivers ready to take the leap into ownership. If you meet the following qualifications to join CloudTrucks, this program could be your gateway to independence:

- Meet all CloudTrucks standard onboarding requirements, including:

- CDL-A holder with 2+ years of experience

- Aged 23-70 years

- Solo driver (not part of a larger team)

- Agree to a minimum 1-year dispatch service

Of course, you will also need to qualify for your lease with the truck lease partner.
